DataSpace (Scotland) utilises an advanced 2D bar code tracking system to ensure the effective tracking of all items registered to the records management system.
Whether it be document boxes, files, and media tapes, each individual item is constantly tracked to dedicated bar-coded positions within the secure storage repositories and all item movements are reported & monitored within the SQL based records management system.
This information can then be accessed by our clients via a dedicated front-end web portal search engine - based around an SQL database and supported by software from Canon UK and O'Neil Software Systems. Highly secure 256-bit encryption is used to ensure the security of your data.
From the web portal, clients can then request a physical box, file or tape for delivery or can request a file be scanned-on-demand to become available for viewing and/or download via the web portal.
