Document Scanning and File Scan on Request

Dataspace Scotland offer a comprehensive document scanning, scan on request and document capture services including file indexing

Using high-speed colour and monochrome scanning equipment, we prepare, scan and index client documents. Document sizes can range from A7 (business card) through to A3 and are captured as B/W or Colour images in PDF, Searchable PDF, TIF or JPEG, which can also be made available for view and download via our secure web portal. If preferred, the completed scanned images may be transferred direct to you via encrypted hard drive, media tape, DVD or secure ftp.

All scans are fully quality checked against the paper originals to ensure all images have been captured correctly, are fully readable, have the correct orientation, etc

Our sophisticated search engine on our web portal makes locating documents and images fast and easy. Once viewed via the web portal, documents can be printed, downloaded or emailed as attachments. See our Online Document Management section of the website for more details.

As well as offering a full box scanning service, for optimum flexibility, and significantly lower cost than large volume bulk scanning, documents can be archived in our secure document storage facility, and accessed very quickly via scan on demand when required.

Offsite Document Storage , plus Scan on Request provides the fastest and lowest cost solution to document & data capture, allowing you to free up space in your offices, yet have immediate access to your document images as and when they are required.

Dataspace Scotland also provide  Secure Document Destruction services should you wish the documents to be destroyed following scanning. A certificate detailing proof of destruction will be provided.
