Dataspace Scotland launch new Data Backup Service

Stirling based Dataspace Scotland launched a new Fully Managed Data Backup Service recently.

The service is aimed at small to medium sized businesses who recognise the need for data backup but may not have the internal resources to manage this.  An automated tape library is used to schedule which data is backed up. Tapes are physically swapped by Dataspace and taken offsite daily for secure fireproof storage. Dataspace remotely monitor the backup and any issues are
immediately dealt with.

One of the first businesses to take up the new service was Lomond Plant.
Ross Easton, Director, said: “This service has been excellent value for money and gives our company complete piece of mind over the safety of our valuable information. The service provides an excellent solution to disaster recovery issues.”
