Sponsorship

DataSpace (Scotland) recognises the need to contribute to the community in which it operates, and to youth development in particular. For this primary reason, we are involved in a number of sponsorship programmes throughout the local Stirlingshire area.

We are involved with Stirling County Rugby Football Club (SCRFC), and sponsor the U15 and U18 squads, as well as the Junior Section Mini's squad.

We are also closely involved with Stirling Rowing Club, who are situated directly on the River Forth in the historic Riverside area.

Dataspace Scotland has actively engaged with other local companies and with matched funding from 'Sports Match Scotland' and Active Stirling, we have on several separate occasions, raised enough funds to enable the club to purchase seven new boats over the past year, including single sculls, double sculls/pairs and quad/fours, and additional new equipment such as shoes and oars.

This has enabled both our senior and junior members to train regularly and compete successfully in various rowing events across Scotland, including the Scottish Rowing Championships.
